Workshop On Strategic Missions
I’ve got an important project this summer, which is a training course for local missionaries in India this August. For the needs in the field and the given circumstances, I’ve made a few major changes in it, and it is now a 3-week intensive workshop. Please pray for this!
In recent years, it has been getting tougher and tougher for expat missionaries to enter and stay in India because of the fundamental Hindu government. It is now more important than any time before to train and equip local missionaries so they can multiply ministries by themselves. Especially, northern India and the Himalayas (north of the extended line of Delhi and Kolkata) have the most concentrated unreached people groups (100 million people) in the world with massive demonic activities, yet very few missionaries and very few Christians in the region. Though it’s been 227 years since the first Protestant missionary William Carey came to India in 1792, this area still remains as one of the 7 most strategic mission fields today.
