It is still amazing that so many people around the world are celebrating the birth of a little Jewish baby, born to this world over two millennia ago! I worship this humble King, Jesus.
In the meantime, I’ve been feeling grateful for each of you who stood with me and my family during this big transitioning time in 2015, remembering, praying for, and supporting us. Thank you, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts! It’s been a great year of God’s guidance and help for our steps and wonderful provision through your prayers and support!
Let me briefly tell you one story how we were able to ship our stuff all the way from Korea to Ireland. It will hopefully encourage your faith, as well. When we almost gave up doing it for our financial situation, God suddenly connected us, through a friend, to a half empty shipping container that was coming to Ireland anyway, and we were allowed to fill up the half at a very nominal fee, which was worth at least a few thousand dollars. Isn’t God amazing? He even gave His one and only Son for us!
I thank God for His Son Jesus who is born to us to be our Lord and Savior, and for you to be our family and dear friends. We, too, pray for you that God will fill your hearts with overflowing joy and peace from above for our King Jesus and increasing hope and faith for the year 2016!
Please continue to pray with us in the year of 2016 that…
- We would continually walk with God in faith and trust Him alone in all matters.
- God would build a team and recruit students for the SOSM, and we would effectively train them and produce oral Bible translation teams.
- Our financial needs would be met for our children’s education, especially for Kevin’s college next year.
Please let us know what’s been happening in your lives and how we can pray for you, as well.
Have a Wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
With love and blessings,
Jooyoung and family
P.S. IMPORTANT NOTE for our U.S donors re. year-end donations: It is the postmark on the envelope that determines if a late donation qualifies for 2015 or not, not the date on the check. But, a check dated for January 2016 will automatically be a 2016 donation regardless of postmark.
